Crowder (and Gerald) made excellent points. Any so-called Conservative media personality who has to throttle their content to satisfy the ever increasing demands of outlets such as YouTube and Facebook cannot be said to be truly fighting a fight I’m interested in supporting. I appreciate voices like Matt & Ben but, knowing what I now know, my respect is tempered. If I’m gonna write a check it’s gonna be to someone who is unconstrained.
In the worst case scenario, if you add up all the penalties in DW's offer, it comes out to 105%. Robert Barnes (of Viva Barnes Law) wrote what he thinks would have been a good contract for DW to have offered. It's eye opening. There are so many ways the DW could have written their offer that wouldn't have been so exploitative.
Good link. The proposal offered to Crowder seems to have been designed to be intentionally disrespectful; you don’t make those kinds of demands of a personality who has a proven, paying following.
Robert Barnes also sat down with Rekieta Law to discuss DW's offer. I didn't have time to watch the entire video (it's over 4 hours long), but I watched enough to realize what DW was doing with their offer.
Agreed. Personally, I'd like to see Crowder go completely independent and build his own business. There isn't a company that could pay him what he's worth that wouldn't do something like what DW did.

I’ll try to find time to view this...but honestly I’m becoming fatigued with the controversy. Best that all parties go to their own domains.

Very informative discussion on Timcast. 👍
The “God King” Jeremy Boreing? (Note: Not God Emperor) I didn’t know!
